- ➤ The Richland School District announced that Superintendent Shelley Redinger will resign in June 2027 when her contract expires; the district will soon begin searching for a new leader after notifying parents and staff last week. The KEY

- ➤ State lawmakers are considering House Bill 1607, which would add 10 cents to each beverage container+ let consumers redeem that amount when they recycle.
