- ➤ The Richland Police Department wrapped up a weekend speed enforcement where 74 drivers were ticketed and 3 drivers were arrested on roads such as Keene Road, Columbia Park Trail, SR-240, and George Washington Way. The department partnered with the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission after repeated complaints (from local residents) and will conduct more patrols this spring and summer (to curb dangerous racing). - ➤ On Monday, March 17 at 11:39 p.m., a Kennewick Officer stopped 20-year-old Alex Mendoza near West Canal Drive and Quinault after noticing his sedan was missing its left front wheel and had heavy front-end damage—he was arrested for DUI and hit and run after his vehicle struck a parked car in Columbia Park.
