- ➤ The Tri-City Quilter’s Guild quilt show will have a 'Home is Where the Heart Is' theme—tying together ideas of home, hearts and quilts—and will be held this weekend at the Three Rivers Convention Center. - ➤ At the Hanford Training Facility, law enforcement officers trained with the PIT maneuver— a technique to safely stop fleeing vehicles—while local agencies unified their procedures for real-world pursuits. - ➤ A study from March 27 showed that an AI program improved IV nutrition for preemies as doctors consistently preferred its prescriptions over handmade formulas and noted that babies fed differently had higher risks of complications. Researchers will soon run a clinical trial to compare outcomes between babies receiving standard nutrition and those fed with the AI-guided method — doctors will review all recommendations before they are used.
