- ➤ A semi-truck loaded with 24 palettes of shelf stable foods will be delivered to Pasco's Seventh-Day Adventist Food Bank on April 3 by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to help feed 1,400 families. The donation includes items from peanut butter and salsa to dish soap and flour + food is available every Wednesday at 7 a.m. KEPR TV

- ➤ Ballots for the Finley School District No. 53 special election will be mailed tomorrow, April 2, and voters must have their signed ballots postmarked or received by Election Day, April 22. Voters who need to register may do so in person until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day at the Benton County Election Center in Kennewick or the Prosser Courthouse while drop boxes remain open 24/7 until 8:00 p.m. NBC Tri-Cities
- ➤ The U.S. Department of Energy Hanford Field Office and the Washington State Department of Ecology have scheduled a virtual meeting on April 30 at 5:30 p.m. to outline plans for a waste processing facility at the Central Waste Complex—processing contact-handled transuranic waste for shipment to New Mexico or onsite disposal. - ➤ A new study found that less deep and REM sleep were linked to smaller brain volumes in areas known to change early in Alzheimer’s disease — researchers analyzed sleep data from 270 people and MRI scans taken 13 to 17 years later.
