- ➤ The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation partnered with the Owl Research Institute to install a livestream camera outside a burrowing owl nest at the former Umatilla Army Depot on April 7 to boost educational outreach. The feed switches to infrared after dark (researchers may add more cameras soon). Apple Valley News Now

- ➤ Drivers on SR-395 near Pasco now face a limit of 65 instead of 70 while traveling toward Eltopia. The State Patrol and WSDOT say this change, part of Senate Bill 6066, aims to reduce fatal crashes at rural intersections. NewsTalk 870
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Kennewick opens a recovery center today to provide 24/7 help and crisis stabilization for people with addiction at Columbia Valley Center for Recovery (216 W 10th Ave.) in the former Kennewick General Hospital building.
