  • Mirror Ministries will host its first Masquerade Gala Friday, May 2 at the Riverside Ballroom at the Richland Community Center — the event will feature hors d'oeuvres, dinner, a silent auction, and a song debut to raise funds for a new outreach center to serve local sex trafficking survivors.  NBC Tri-Cities

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Fire crews responded to a fire at Greenbrier Rail Services in Finley on Monday, April 21 and quickly controlled the blaze inside a blasting bin with only minor damage and no injuries, according to Benton County Fire District 1.  NBC Tri-Cities

  • The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said they are searching for Ashley Ripplinger, who has been missing since Sunday night, April 20 after sending concerning texts and not showing up for work + her vehicle was found unoccupied near Benton City with her phone off + anyone with information is urged to call dispatch at 509-628-0333.  FOX 41 Yakima

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Kennewick and BFCOG are inviting residents to complete a 24-question survey that takes about 10 minutes to share ideas on downtown revitalization and neighborhood improvements. The survey will assess building conditions, zoning standards and redevelopment potential — and guide future capital projects funded by an EPA grant.  Tri-Cities Business News
  • The City of Kennewick and the Benton-Franklin Council of Governments launched an Area-Wide Planning initiative to revitalize downtown and nearby neighborhoods—residents can share their views through a 24-question survey as the project is funded by an EPA grant for brownfield cleanup.  FOX 41 Yakima

HEALTH NEWS

  • Kadlec broke ground in West Richland on a new clinic aimed at reducing wait times — the facility will add ten new primary care physicians to serve 15,000 to 20,000 patients and ease local provider shortages. Construction began yesterday and the clinic is expected to open in about a year.  FOX 41 Yakima
  • Kadlec broke ground on a new West Richland primary care clinic at 3950 Keene Road on April 21 + plans to add 10 providers to help serve up to 20,000 patients in the Tri-Cities area. The 15,000-square-foot building will open in about a year + reduce long wait times and ease the shortage of primary care in the community.  Tri-Cities Business News
  • Kadlec has begun construction on a new clinic in West Richland — a facility that will add ten primary care physicians to serve 15,000 to 20,000 people and help address a shortage of 50 providers — to cut wait times in the Tri-Cities.
