- ➤ A man was arrested yesterday in Richland for impersonating a police officer and pulling over drivers on Leslie Rd. near Columbia Park Trail — Benton County sheriffs charged him with criminal impersonation and booked him in jail. FOX 41 Yakima
- ➤ A high-speed chase on I-82 ended when deputies responded to a silver van swerving near Badger Rd— the van hit a semi and caught fire— and they safely rescued the driver suspected of being under the influence with no serious injuries reported. NBC Tri-Cities
- ➤ Richland police arrested a man impersonating an officer near Columbia Park Trail and Leslie Road on Thursday after a caller reported that a black SUV was pulling vehicles over; he was booked into Benton County Jail and faces a charge of Criminal Impersonation 1st Degree—his vehicle had been altered to resemble a patrol car. - ➤ Medicaid supporters gathered in Richland on April 24 to protest potential cuts as Congress prepared its budget, displaying a 50-foot scroll of petition signatures from the Fourth Congressional District at John Dam Plaza.
