- ➤ Kennewick will host a trading card show today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the 43rd Annual Pacific Northwest Mustang Club Spring Show starts Sunday, May 25 at 9 a.m. near Lampson Pits in Columbia Park. Nearby, Middleton’s Strawberry Festival runs today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — featuring U-Pick strawberries — while the Yakima Valley Comedy Festival begins at 6 p.m. tonight with 17 comedians at 4th Street Theatre. - ➤ A pipe fitting failure at the Hanford site led to nearly 2,800 gallons of water spilling over a roadway and a building—prompt action by Hanford Mission Integration Solutions quickly isolated the leak, minimizing disruptions. FOX 41 Yakima

- ➤ Kennewick Police are searching for two men after officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots near Canal Drive at around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday & ask anyone with information to call & the investigation remains active. NBC Tri-Cities
- ➤ Kennewick Police investigated a late night shooting on Thursday at 11:50 p.m. near West Canal drive and North Arthur Street when two homes were struck by gunfire and witnesses saw two males fleeing the scene (no injuries were reported) and urge residents to check their security cameras for potential evidence. - ➤ Boat owners in Kennewick are advised by Deputy Brad Klippert from the Benton County Sheriff's Office marine division to have their vessels inspected—available at docks or on the river—to ensure safe launches for Memorial Day weekend.
