- ➤ Today, a wildfire near Finley Road and Les Blair Road in southern Benton County grew to 500 acres with reports of at least two power poles burning — fire crews using two Wildland Strike Teams and two dozers are working to protect one structure while a helicopter has been requested amid high winds. - ➤ Fire crews responded today near Plymouth Road in Benton County to a large wind driven vegetation fire—Benton County Sheriff's Office is assessing whether evacuations are needed. Apple Valley News Now
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A study by Washington State University found that dogs of working adults showed more stress, such as pacing and whining, when owners continued their work worries after the day ended—85 dog owners were surveyed in the research.
