  • The PNW Collector Convention returns to Kennewick with a family-friendly gathering for collectors to network, trade and display items over 20,000 square feet at the Three Rivers Convention Center.   • Kennewick's Chick-fil-A opened at 6:30 a.m. on June 19 as customers who waited overnight received service at the new West Canal Drive location. The restaurant is expected to quickly establish operations and serve the local community.  NBC Tri-Cities

CRIME NEWS

  • An off-duty Kennewick officer, Fernando Ramos, faced DUI charges after his vehicle struck a parked car on Wednesday just before 10 p.m., with no injuries reported—Benton County authorities launched an independent investigation.  The KEY

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Washington law forbids lane splitting, a practice where motorcyclists ride between lanes of stopped traffic, with safety studies showing increased risks for both riders and drivers — California law allows lane splitting but Washington riders must follow the ban. Motorcyclists are urged to ride safely and obey the law to avoid dangerous situations on the road.  KONA
