- ➤ Two men aged 39 and 34 were arrested Wednesday in Kennewick for a targeted armed robbery that occurred on July 27 on West Kennewick Avenue—officers said the investigation is ongoing. FOX 41 Yakima
- ➤ After being filmed stealing packages in the 7000 block in Pasco, deputies tracked suspect Jesse James Manroe Flores and found his tent in a residential backyard on Court Street—where bikes, a briefcase and stolen credit cards linked him to several thefts. KONA
- ➤ Kennewick police arrested Corey J. Williams on August 6 at about 6:50 a.m. for allegedly waving a gun at Southridge Sports Complex—he resisted commands and now faces charges including assault. Apple Valley News Now

- ➤ The REACH Museum and Manhattan Project National Historical Park invite local residents to join two peace events on the 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. The first event will run tomorrow at the REACH Museum from noon to 3:30 p.m. + the second will be held on August 9 at Howard Amon Park with music, a peace bell ceremony and a candlelit path. - ➤ The Conscious Living Expo will be held at the HAPO Center on August 8 and 9 and will offer wellness practices, networking and workshops for attendees.
