GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Starting Tuesday, September 2, Richland will begin construction at the busy intersection of George Washington Way and Aaron Drive to ease congestion and improve safety—Ellison Earthworks will close the parking lane to Benham Street on the west side and add a southbound lane along George Washington Way; the project will finish by November and will include new traffic signals and ADA accessible sidewalk ramps to further improve travel. - ➤ The state’s first Dream Court will open today in Prosser at the Boys & Girls Club (999 Seventh St) with Basketball Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lieberman attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
