- ➤ A 75-year-old Hispanic woman was struck while crossing at 8th and Washington in Kennewick last night at 6:32 p.m.—she was not using a marked crosswalk and wore dark clothing while the driver cooperated and police investigated the incident, which is the third similar pedestrian death this year in a poorly lit area. - ➤ 83-year-old Renetee Martin wandered from the St. Vincent Food Bank in Pasco and was found nearly six miles away along Highway 395 in Kennewick—public tips helped officers locate her after a several-hour search as she suffers from dementia. The KEY

- ➤ This Halloween, adults will swap candy for wine glasses as local bars and vineyards host wine walks and pub crawls (with themed cocktails and costume festivities). Mountain passes may receive 3-5 inches of snowfall starting 5 PM Saturday with winds gusting 15-35 MPH on Saturday—highs dropping into the 50s and valley frost expected at night until Wednesday.
