Good morning, Kennewick. Here's your local news at a glance for Friday, the 14th of November.

COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Today, Senske Services announced that its decades-long Senske Holiday Light Show will not take place this year at its Kennewick office, 400 N. Quay St., because the company relocated its headquarters to Dallas— the display that once featured up to 500,000 lights synced to music and promoted food donations to Second Harvest is now discontinued, steering locals to visit Richland’s Winter Wonderland instead.  Tri-Cities Business News

BUSINESS NEWS

  • ICCU opened its new branch at 3720 S. Zintel Way in Kennewick on Nov. 4 as its first Tri Cities location for community engagement and business services. The building, measuring 4895 square feet in the Southridge development, has drive thru access, six teller stations, a full size vault, and nine parking spaces with electric vehicle charging (built by Chervenell Construction and designed by Lombard Conrad Architects).  Tri-Cities Business News
  • Downtown Kennewick will launch its Holiday drawing on November 15 and it will last until December 15. Local business owners say a $15 purchase entry may help boost foot traffic — they face challenges from a slow local economy.  KEPR TV
  • Washington State Target stores have introduced a 10-foot rule—team members must make eye contact, smile and offer assistance when within 10 feet of a guest. The policy will boost customer service during the upcoming busy holiday season in Kennewick and the surrounding area.  NewsTalk 870

The review of nearly 23,000 patients showed that treating 1,000 people prevented nine heart attacks and eight strokes—though some patients experienced mild stomach issues.  FOX 41 Yakima
