  • Extreme winds are causing power outages across the region this morning — 417 customers in Kennewick remain without power and additional outages affect parts of Yakima, Walla Walla and Umatilla counties.  NBC Tri-Cities

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Port of Benton approved its 2026 budget which includes a surplus, an 8th straight property tax cut, and funding for capital projects such as airport improvements and rail upgrades — contractor bids will follow to complete work into 2027.  Apple Valley News Now
  • Benton County Emergency Management advised residents near the Yakima River to prepare for flooding after Saturday's crest; officials recommended securing outdoor items and moving valuables to higher ground, while a shelter remained open at Central Church in Richland.  NBC Tri-Cities

  • A new poll of 1,000 U.S. dads finds that low testosterone contributes significantly to burnout, fatigue and low motivation. Dads diagnosed with low testosterone reported more severe symptoms and nearly half have received treatment that improved energy & mood.  FOX 41 Yakima
